Upgrading Flow
Note:
The following flow is applicable for both local upgrading and remote upgrading.
The version upgrading order cannot be reversed: upgrade the service cards first, and then
upgrade the control and switching card.
1. Upgrade the service card.
Take the GTGOE card as an example, and upgrade the other cards with the same
steps.
Note:
You should make sure that the service card and the uplink card is in INSERVICE status
before upgrading the boot version.
If the boot version of the switching and control card is upgraded first, the boot version of
the control and switching card will be incompatible with that of other cars. They will not
be in INSERVICE status, and then the boot version cannot be upgraded. Therefore,
you should upgrade the service cards and the uplink cards first.

In step ii and step iii, the software version and firmware version are downloaded to
the control and switching card, and replace the original versions. When the card is
restarted, it automatically synchronize the versions from the control and switching
card.
d. Restart the card to take the version effective.
