    Installation and Assembly Instructions To the Customer Specialized techniques are required in the wall mounting of the Copyboard. Please do not attempt any installation work unless you have the techniques. To the Dealer or Installation Tradesman In the interest of the safety of the customer, please perform instal- lation work paying due attention to the strength of the installation location to ensure that it can bear the load of the Copyboard and installation parts.

    Operating the Copyboard These operations are required when storing the drawings on the copyboard’s sheet in the memory and when moving the sheet surface using the buttons.     Clearing the built-in Memory Use this procedure to clear all the image files in the built-in memory. Note: The procedure described below clears all the image files in the built-in memory. Be sure to store important images on a CF memory card or computer before the operation. Press the CLEAR button and hold it in for more 3 seconds.

    Formatting of the built-in memory of the copyboard from the personal computer is not possible. Also note that formatting the CF memory in the NTFS format is not supported. • When TIFF files made with the M-5 are opened with the Image Viewer of Windows 98SE and Me, horizontal lines might appear.

    Quick Calibration The procedure described below is used to adjust (calibrate) for optimum scanning condition of the sheet surface. Perform this quick calibration procedure after replacing the fluorescent lamp or if dark lines appear in the horizontal direction when the copyboard is mounted on the wall. Clean the sheet surface.
