Accuracy of temperature measurement
The accuracy of the temperature measurement when using internal compensation (terminal
temperature) is composed of:
● Error for the analog input of the utilized thermocouple type
● Measuring accuracy for the temperature of the internal reference junction ±1.5 K
The accuracy of temperature measurement when using external compensation, either by
means of locally connected thermal resistances or via remote access by way of an external
RTD module, is composed of:
● Error for the analog input of the utilized thermocouple type
● Measuring accuracy of the thermal resistance used for compensation
● Error for the compensation input (see operational and basic error limits for resistance
thermometers)
