Description
A low pulse greater than 1µs causes the
printer to read one byte of data.

Data Bit 1
Data Bit 2
Data Bit 3

Data Bit 7
The printer sends a low pulse to indicate
that it has accepted a byte of data and
is ready for more data.
The printer sends a high logic level to
indicate to the host that it cannot receive
data due to data entry, a full buffer or
error condition.
The printer sends a high logic level to
indicate to the host that it is out of paper.
The printer sends a high logic level to
indicate to the host that it is on line.
Not Used
The printer outputs a high logic level
(+5V through a 2.2K ohm resistor) on this
pin when it is turned on.
A low pulse greater than 10µs sent by the
host that resets the printer and clears the
print buffer.
NOTE: The printer may not work when
this line is held low.
The printer sends a low logic level to the
host to indicate that it is in an error state;
self test failed or carriage position lost.
