13A Extended maximum load test
STRAIGHT RAIL SYSTEM
• Apply the maximum load for the overhead rail system. Travel the applied load along the rail from one end
stop to the other end stop, with a pause under each fixing point. Travel as the dashed line shows.
• Listen for unusual noises and vibrations. Check for any abnormalities such as deflection, movement or
resistance.
