    TIP867-10 (RS485). This transition module can also be used with the IP-Octals. If the TIP866-TM-20 is used with the IP- Octal RS232: do not connect jumpers on J11, J12, J21, J22: 9-10 and 11-12 because the IP-Octal RS232 does not support DCD and DTR on serial channel 1 and 2.

    Default configuration for TIP866-TM-20: jumper installed on Jn1 => RS232 DTE. Channel 1 and 2 of the TIP866-TM-20 additionally support DCD and DTR for the TIP866-10. Support of +5V on pin 1 of the RJ45 connector for channel 3 to 8 is jumper selectable (Jn5: 9- 10) and requires +5V connected to connector X9 (2 pin screw terminal).
