3.5.2 Network Mode

The 802.11b_AdHoc network is the simplest WLAN configuration, defined as two or more
wireless devices within range of each other that form an independent network without the need
of an access point (AP).
An Infrastructure network is that which allows wireless clients to connect to the wired
network.
Do the following to select the network mode that the SWSIP-1000 is to
use.
1 Select Wireless in the first menu screen (use the up or down
arrow to highlight it and then press the Left key).
7. Wireless
2 Select Network Mode.
3 Select Infra. to access an AP.
Select Ad Hoc to form an independent network with another
wireless client (like another SWSIP-1000 for example) without the
need of an AP.
