    Operation Front Panel Features The front panels for the DVI DA4 Plus (upper panel) and the DVI DA6 Plus/DVI DA8 Plus (lower panel) are shown below: DVI DA PLUS DVI DISTRIBUTION AMPLIFIER DVI DA Plus SERIES DVI DISTRIBUTION AMPLIFIER LED indicator — This LED indicator illuminates amber when the unit is receiving power but no input signal.

    Disabling EDID Minder Some applications require that the distribution amplifier does not automatically read the EDID from one or more specific outputs. In those cases, the EDID Minder feature can be disabled so those specific outputs are ignored during the automatic scanning process: Remove and keep the screws holding the cover to the base.

    Operation, cont’d Troubleshooting No output signal — Check that the front panel LED is on (amber shows that the unit is receiving power, green shows that it is also receiving an input signal). If LED is not lit, check the power supply and the video input connections to the unit (see pages 2-2 and 2-3).
