2.5 Using the telephone in 'Hands free' mode

2.5.1 Terminal idle

Press and release

Terminate your call.
2.5.2 Call in progress

During a conversation

Press and release
During a conversation, you can lift the receiver without terminating the call.

2.6 Activating the loudspeaker during a conversation (handset lifted)

Activate loudspeaker

Adjust volume by pressing the volume keys (number of levels: 7).

Deactivate loudspeaker
Press and release the loudspeaker key to switch to hands free mode (light steady).

2.7 Calling a contact using the search by name feature

You can call a contact using the search by name feature. This feature enables you to call a contact
directly on their company phone or call them on another phone using their contact card.
The search by name feature provides two modes:

Internal: Classic search of the corporate directory.

Unified: Predictive search of the corporate directory.
Please be aware that predictive searching means that you won't have access to the contact card,
and therefore can only call the contact on their company phone.
Switching between the two modes:

Press a letter to launch the dial by name function.

Options

The current mode is displayed.

Select the new mode:
o Internal: The internal directory mode is enabled.
o Unified: The unified directory mode is enabled.
o OK: Stay in the current mode.
2.7.1 Calling a contact using the unified directory

Enter the first letter of your contact's surname.
When entering the name you can extend the search by adding the first letters of the first name
after entering the '#' symbol or pressing:

Start the search.

A list of matching names is displayed on the screen. Each contact is displayed with their name
and company phone number.
