STILL/SLOW – /+ Buttons
During slow motion tape playback,
press to adjust the playback speed.
Details are on page 48.
MENU Button
Press to access the main VCR
menu. Or, press the TV button,
then the MENU button, to access
the TV menu.
EXIT/STATUS Button
Press to exit on-screen menus.
Press to bring up the status display
for five seconds. Details are on page
25. When tape playback is stopped,
press repeatedly to see the time,
real-time counter, or current chan-
nel number on the display panel.
During tape playback, press repeat-
edly to see the time or the real-
time counter on the display panel.
Or, press the TV button, then press
the EXIT/STATUS button, to access
the TV on-screen displays or to exit
the TV menu.
TIMER Button
Press to access the timer recording
menu. Details are on pages 34 - 39.
SPEED Button
Press to select the recording speed
(SP or SLP). Details are on pages 37
and 50.
INDEX Buttons
When tape playback is stopped,
press to search for index codes
recorded on the tape. Details are on
page 42.
