3. Removing the rear panel
1) Remove the top cover.
2) Remove the ten screws 'E' which fix the rear panel.
3) Remove the rear panel.

4. Removing the loading base
1) Remove the top cover.
2) Remove the flexible wire which connects the loading base with the main board.
Note:
The laser pickup used in the DVD player can easily be destroyed by static electricity
charged on the human body. Be sure to wear an earth band before touching the periphery of
the loading base. In addition, when the connector is disconnected, be sure to
short-circuit the flexible wire 'a' by the attached metal clip.
3) Remove flexible wire 'b'.
4) Remove the four screws 'G' which fix the loading base.
