Preparation and Use

Checking Oil Supply

After starting the engine, run the chain at
medium speed and see if chain oil is scattered
off and forms a light trace.
If the oil supply is not sufficient do not use the
chain saw in this condition.
To adjust the chain oil flow, insert a screw-
driver into the hole on the bottom of the clutch
side. Adjust the oil chain flow according to
your work conditions.
Turn the oil supply screw counter clockwise in
direction MAX for more chain oil flow and
clockwise in direction MIN for less chain oil
flow.
HINT: Refill the oil tank every time when refuelling the saw so there will
be always sufficient chain oil in the tank.

Shut off the Engine

1. Release the throttle lever (7) and allow the engine to run at idling
speed for a while.
2. Push the start/stop switch (4) down.

Operating the Gasoline Chain Saw

It is not necessary to force the chain saw into the cut. Apply only light
pressure while running the engine at full speed and touching the
wooden material. Racing the engine with the chain jammed in the
cutting can damage the clutch system. When the saw chain is caught in
the cut, do not attempt to pull the running machine out by force, but use
a wedge or a lever to open the cut.
