 When fuel is accidentally spilt or may be ignited by a single
spark, there is risk of fire. When handling with fuel make sure
not to spill it. Wipe up all spills and start the gasoline chain
saw at least 3 m away from the fuelling point.
 Keep the gasoline chain saw away from all sources of sparks
or flames. Do not smoke while handling with fuel.
 Keep open flames out of the area where fuel is mixed, poured
or stored. Mix and store the fuel in suitable containers.
 Always inspect the gasoline chain saw before each use for
worn, loose, or damaged parts. Never operate a chain saw
that is damaged, improperly adjusted, or is not completely and
securely assembled.
 While clearing the area around the tree, arrange a good
foothold and a secure retreat path.
 Be sure that the saw chain stops moving immediately when
the throttle trigger (7) is released. First shut off the chain saw
and then lie down.
 The chain saw must be used only by one person at a time.
Make sure bystanders do not stay in the chain saw's area of
swing.
 Make sure the chain saw is not touching anything and moving
free. Keep all parts of your body away from the saw chain
when the engine is running. Keep the handles dry, clean and
free of oil or fuel mixture.
 Use only original accessories and original replacement parts.
 Use extreme caution when cutting small size brushes and
saplings because slender material can be jammed in the saw
chain and whipped towards your body to cause injuries or pull
you off balance.
 Do not modify the gasoline chain saw in any way.
 When transporting the chain saw always place the guide bar
cover (22) on the guide bar.
