Names and Features of Component

Names and features of the components are shown below.
4.1

Front View

(1) Optical Disk Drive
Reads (or writes) data from/into the disk inserted into the
drive.
(2) DISK ACCESS LED (green)
Lights in green while the internal hard disk drive is
accessed.
(3) POWER/SLEEP LED (green/amber)
Lights in green when the workstation is powered on. Light
in amber when the system is placed in the power-saving
mode.
(4) POWER/SLEEP Switch
Turns on/off the power.
When you press the switch once, then the
POWER/SLEEP LED goes on green and the power is
turned on. When you press the switch again, the power is
turned off.
The POWER/SLEEP switch can have power saving mode
(sleep mode).
Some OS setting can provide the function of switching to
the power saving (sleep) mode. If you press the
POWER/SLEEP switch once after the setting, the system
enters into the power saving mode (LED lit amber). If you
press the switch again, the system returns to the normal
state. (Depending on installed optional boards, the feature
is unavailable.)
If you press and hold the POWER/SLEEP switch for
several seconds, the workstation is forcedly powered off.

Supports USB 2.0 interface.
(6) Headphone Terminal
Connects a headphone jack.
(7) Microphone Terminal
Connects a microphone jack.
(8) Stabilizer
Secures the workstation when it is installed vertically.
