Chapter 2 Preparations

Installation
Follow the steps below to install a hard disk drive.
1.
See Chapter 2 (1.3 Preparing for Installation and
Removal) for preparations.
2.
Disconnect the cable from the optical disk drive.
3.
Remove the two screws and then remove the optical disk
drive.
4.
Remove the cable from the hard disk drive already installed.
5.
Remove the two screws and then remove the cage.
Note
To install a hard disk drive additionally, an optional SATA cable is required.
