2-10 I-SATA/L-SAS Connections

I-SATA (SATA) Ports

There are two SATA 3.0 (I-SATA 0/1) and four SATA 2.0
ports (I-SATA2-I-SATA5 located on the motherboard.
These SATA ports, supported by Intel PCH, provide
serial-link signal connections, which are faster than the
connections of Parallel ATA. See the table on the right
for pin definitions.

L-SAS Ports (X9DRL-7F Only)

In addition to I-SATA ports, eight SATA connectors
(L-SAS 0-7), supported by the LSI 2208 controller ,
are also located on the X9DRL-7F to provide serial
link connection support. See the table on the right for
pin definitions.
