Battery recharge

Problem
The handset beeps and/
or flashes.
I fully charged the
batteries, but

Cause/solution
R Battery charge is low. Fully charge the batteries (page 11).
R Clean the battery ends (
dry cloth and charge again.
R It is time to replace the batteries (page 10).
Cause/solution
R The handset is too far from the base unit. Move closer.
R The base unit's AC adaptor is not properly connected.
Reconnect AC adaptor to the base unit.
R The handset is not registered to the base unit. Register it
(page 34).
R Activating one touch eco mode reduces the range of the base
unit in standby mode. If required, turn eco mode off (page 16).
R You are using the handset or base unit in an area with high
electrical interference. Re-position the base unit and use the
handset away from sources of interference.
R Move closer to the base unit.
R If you use a DSL/ADSL service, we recommend connecting a
DSL/ADSL filter between the base unit and the telephone line
jack. Contact your DSL/ADSL provider for details.
R You have registered a handset that is not recommended
(page 5). The clearest sound quality is only possible by
registering the recommended handset.
R The ringer volume is turned off. Adjust ringer volume (page 18).
R Night mode is turned on. Turn it off (page 32).
R The ringer volume is turned off. Adjust ringer volume (page 28).
R You dialled a call restricted number (page 33).
R The key lock feature is turned on. Turn it off (page 20).
