Configuring process alerts

Note
This function is available only a Rosemount 2140 and Rosemount 2140:SIS with the
Extended Features Package enabled.
Process alerts allow the level detector to indicate when a pre-set data point is exceeded.
Alerts can be set for the following device variables:
An active alert is displayed on a Field Communicator, AMS Device Manager status screen or
in the error section of an LOI display. When the value returns within range, an alert is reset.

The high alert value must be higher than the low alert value. Both alert values must also be
within the sensor limits.
Configuration
Select VIEW CONFIG ().
) until HI SAT and the high saturation level setting appears.

Exit the menu system by either waiting one minute for the EXIT MENU? prompt, or
scrolling down menus to find and select BACK TO MENU and EXIT TO MENU.
