Specification :
Delta-t accuracy for dual-cursor, single-channel measurement, or for channel-to-channel
measurement after visual time null calibration has been done .

BNC Cable . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . HP 10503A
Procedure :
+- 2% of (t/div) +- .005% of Delta t +- 1 ns

Set Signal Generator for 100 MHz output.

Connect Signal Generator to HP 54501A Channel 1 input .
3 .
Autoscale HP 54501 A by pressing front-panel AUTOSCALE key .
4.
Adjust Signal Generator output level for 6 to 8 division vertical deflection on HP 54501A .
5.
Change TIMEBASE to 5 ns/div .
6 .
Set TIMEBASE delay for 0.00000 s .
7 .
Go to DISPLAY menu and set # of averages 2048 .
8.
Select delta-t menu by pressing At/AV key .
9 .
Select At markers on .
10.
Set start marker to mid-screen crossover point on left side of displayed signal as in figure
3-2 .
11 .
Set stop marker to mid-screen crossover point on right side of displayed signal as in figure
3-2 .
12.
Measure of delta t at bottom of display should be 40ns
