HP 54501A PERFORMANCE TESTS

Repeat steps 1 through 4 for channels 2 through 4.

6 .

Adjust Power Supply for +50 mV output.

7 .

Press HP 54501A front-panel CHAN key.

Select channel 1 on .

Select 5 mV/div .

Set coupling to dc .

d .

Set offset to +50 mV .

Press HP 54501A front-panel display key .

Select avg mode .

b .

Set #of avg to 2048 .

9 .

Check for baseline within 0.6 divisions of center reference .

10 .

Repeat steps 7 through 9 for channel 4.

NOTE

This performance test is temperature sensitive. Test limits in steps 4, 8, and

9 are with instrument operating at same temperature as when calibrated. If

temperatures are not the same, the error will be increased by 0.075 divIA °C

(0.15 div/0° C on 5 mV/div range) .
