Hydraulic connections
When assembling the locking ring
fitting, observe the following:
H All pipe ends must be square and
deburred.
H Push the union nut and the locking
ring onto the pipe and lightly
lubricate the threads with oil.
H Push the pipe into the compression
fitting as far as it will go.
H Initially turn the union nut by hand,
then tighten with an open ended
spanner by a further ¾ turn.
Do not use annealed copper pipes
with compression fittings.

1. Inset the plug until it bottoms out,
then secure with hose clips.
2. Inset the connection pipes until
they bottom out, then secure them
with hose clips.
3. Fit the elbow onto the return
connector.
4. Fit the tee onto the flow connector.
5. Insert the sensor well into the tee.
For this, hold the tee tightly.
6. Insert the strain relief fitting into
the sensor well.
7. Insert the collector temperature
sensor until it bottoms out inside
the sensor well and secure with
the strain relief fitting.
8. Insert into the support sleeves of
the solar circuit pipes.
Make the connection between the
panel array and the solar circuit
fittings.
9. Fit the thermal insulation and
secure with adhesive on its cut
faces.
