Recording from CD

You can record from a CD to a tape. Use TYPE I
(normal) or TYPE II (CrO2) tapes.
Recording from CD Automatically
The CD SYNCHRO function makes it easy to record
from a CD to a tape.

Press EJECT § on the right speaker and insert a
blank tape into the tape deck, with the side you
want to record facing forward.
Make sure the tabs on the cassette have not been
removed.
When "NO TAB" is displayed
The tabs on the cassette deck have been removed to
prevent accidental erasure.

Click FUNCTION in the main menu.

Click CD.

Click SUB.

Select the play mode you desire and, if necessary,
click a disc button ( ~

When the play mode is set to either CONTINUE or
SHUFFLE
Clicking a disc button starts playback. In this case, click
p to stop playback before proceeding to step 6.

Click REC EDIT.

Be sure to start from the front side.

Click DOLBY NR to select "DOLBY NR: B" or
"DOLBY NR: C" when you want to reduce tape
hiss in low-level, high- frequency signals.

"CD SYNC" appears and the CD player and tape
deck enter recording pause mode. The direction
indicator in the REC EDIT control panel (()
indicates the direction in which recording will
start.
If you want to record on the reverse side only
