Battery Replacement

Four AA batteries are used to power the receiver and two AAA batteries are used to power the remote control. These
batteries are required for operation. Replace batteries before each heating season to ensure proper operation.
- Remove the heat shield above the receiver (it is held in place with hook-and-loop tape and a tab on the left side).
- Remove the receiver from the insert and place it in front of the insert (it is held in place with hook-and-loop
tape). Remove the battery cover on top of the receiver and install four new AA batteries into the receiver.
- Replace the cover on the receiver and
place it back into position. Replace the
heat shield (note how the tab on the left
side of the heat shield inserts into a slot on
the side of the insert).
- Install two AAA batteries into the remote control.
