My propane Cypress Avalon fireplace isn’t reacting to my wired in thermostat. The thermostat is wifi enabled but the fireplace isn’t listening to it. What can I try? I am using a Iux geo thermostat.

If the Avalon Cypress propane fireplace is not responding to a wired Iux geo thermostat, the following troubleshooting steps can be taken:

1. Check if the thermostat is disconnected – Ensure the thermostat is properly connected.
2. Check the thermostat setting – Make sure it is not set too low.
3. Check for power issues – Verify the stove is getting electricity; inspect the breaker switch.
4. Check propane supply – Ensure there is propane in the tank.
5. Check backup batteries – Replace the power backup batteries if they are dead.

These steps address common issues that may prevent the fireplace from responding to a thermostat.
