5.2.3 Performing EPO

Turn on the EPO switch (provided by the customer). The UPS enters the EPO state. That is,
the inverter shuts down, and the UPS will not transfer to bypass mode.

5.3 Parallel System Operations

This section describes operations on a UPS2000-G-15 kVA/20 kVA parallel system.
Issue 10 (2017-01-19)
shows the EPO cable connection on a single UPS.
 Connect an external switch to the EPO port on the UPS. After you turn on the switch, the inverter
shuts down, and the UPS will not transfer to bypass mode. Output terminals completely power off,
which meets the EPO purpose.

The external EPO switch (switch or dry contact signals controlled by a switch) is provided by the
customer.
