    Step 3 Secure the UPS to the rack by installing M6 screws in the mounting ears. Figure 3-2 shows how to rack-mount the UPS.     UPS input and output, loads, batteries, current UPS status, and real-time alarms, and allows you to set control parameters. It also enables you to query historical alarms.     To ensure human safety and equipment security, observe the following precautions when maintaining batteries in the UPS:  Clean battery shells by using a water-dipped cloth.
