    Step 3 Secure the UPS to the rack by installing M6 screws in the mounting ears. Figure 3-2 shows how to rack-mount the UPS.     To ensure human safety and equipment security, observe the following precautions when maintaining batteries in the UPS:  Clean battery shells by using a water-dipped cloth.
