    INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing this Blackbird 4K 5x1 HDMI® Presentation Switch! This switch features four HDMI inputs, plus a combination input that can accept VGA, Component (YPbPr), or Composite (CVBS) video. It supports HDMI video resolutions up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 and is fully compliant with the HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 standards.

    Press the AUTO button to toggle automatic switching on or off. When automatic switching is enabled, the LED will illuminate blue. 4. OUTPUT RESOLUTION BUTTONS: Press the buttons to set the output resolution to 4K@60Hz, 4K@30Hz, 1080p, or 720p. The switch/scaler will automatically scale the resolution to match the selected resolution.

    IR Remote Control 1. POWER SWITCH: Press the button to power the unit on or to put it into standby mode. 2. MUTE BUTTON: Press the button to mute or unmute the audio output. 3. ADJ BUTTON: Press the button to automatically adjust the VGA screen settings.

    INSTALLATION Perform the following steps to install this switch. 1. Ensure that all equipment to be connected is powered off and unplugged from its power source. 2. Using a High Speed HDMI® Cable (not included), plug one end into the HDMI input on your display, then plug the other end into the HDMI port in the OUTPUT section on the scaler/switcher.

    OSD MENU Pressing the MENU button on the included remote control accesses the built-in On Screen Display (OSD) menu. Main Menu The Main menu gives access to the Picture, Aspect Ratio, Screen, EDID Switch, Software Update, and Resolution submenus. The Screen submenu is only available when the selected input is set to VGA.

    Aspect Ratio Submenu The Aspect Ratio submenu allows you to set the output aspect ratio to 4:3 or 16:9. Screen Submenu The Screen submenu allows you to set the Horizontal Position, Vertical Position, Size, and Phase. It also allows you to select the Auto Adjust feature, which automatically sets the screen parameters for the optimal display.

    EDID Submenu The EDID submenu allows you to determine how the source device obtains its EDID information. The EDID 1.4 option is for use with devices that conform to version 1.4 of the HDMI® specification. The EDID 2.0 option is for use with devices that conform to version 2.0 of the HDMI specification.

    Resolution Submenu The Resolution submenu allows you to set the output resolution of the switch to a fixed value. You can also select the AUTO option, which automatically sets the output resolution to the best resolution for the connected display. The Resolution sub menu is also accessible by pressing the RES button on the included remote control.
