Programming of circular movements
ISO mode offers two possibilities for programming the circular movements.
The circular motion is described by the:
● Center point and end point in the absolute or incremental dimension
● Radius and end point in Cartesian coordinates
For a circular interpolation with a central angle <= 180 degree, "R > 0" (positive) is to be programmed.
For a circular interpolation with a central angle > 180 degree, "R < 0" (negative) is to be programmed.
Circular interpolation with the specification of the radius R:
Feed
In the circular interpolation, the feed is programmed in the same way as for the linear interpolation (see Section "Linear
interpolation (G01) (Page 22)").
