Configuring VRRP Authentication

You can configure simple text authentication for a VRRP group.

Purpose
Enters configuration mode.
Enters interface configuration mode.
Creates a virtual router group.
Disables the VRRP group. Disabled by default.
Sets the priority level used to select the active
router in an VRRP group. The level range is
from 1 to 254. The default is 100 for backups
and 255 for a master that has an interface IP
address equal to the virtual IP address.
Optionally, sets the upper and lower threshold
values used by vPC to determine when to fail
over to the vPC trunk. The lower-value range is
from 1 to 255. The default is 1. The upper-value
range is from 1 to 255. The default is 255.
Enables the VRRP group. Disabled by default.
(Optional) Displays a summary of VRRP
information.
(Optional) Saves this configuration change.
