Drive chain slack adjustment
1. Loosen the rear brake adjuster.
2. Remove the cotter pin from the rear
wheel axle nut.
3. Loosen the rear wheel axle nut.
4. To tighten the chain, turn chain adjuster
clockwise. To loosen the chain, turn the
adjuster counterclockwise and push the
wheel forward. Turn each adfuster ex-
actly the same amount to maintain cor-
rect axle alignment.
(There are marks
7-21
on each side of swingarm and on each
chain adjuster; use them to check for
proper alignment.)

Too small chain slack will overload the

slack within the specified limits.
