2.5.2 Power Connections

Power connections to the 880 Panel Mount are shown below.
• Part number 152334 is used to connect AC power to the power supply board.
• Part number 15888 is used to connect DC power to the power supply board.
Attach the wires per the diagram shown below.

2.5.3 Serial Communications

Attach serial communications cables to external connector J3. Connector J3 provides connections for the Comm 1
port. Table 2-3 shows the pin assignments for RS-232 and RS-485.
For RS-232, all four switches on SW3 (see Figure 2-10) must be in the OFF position.
Note
For RS-485, all four switches on SW3 must be in the ON position.

2.5.4 USB Micro

USB connection for uploading/downloading to a PC.

2.5.5 USB Host Device

2.5.6 Ethernet Communications

Ethernet communications uses a RJ45 connector in port J6 (see Figure 2-10 for port location).
