VIDEO VBOX LITE MANUAL

Video Picture-in-Picture

The Video Picture-In-Picture window is a variable sized Element used to display
the input from a secondary camera connected to the Video VBOX LITE.
The quality of the video displayed in the PIP window is not configurable but is
fixed to the current scene quality setting.
NB: Although the size of the PIP window is fully configurable, the camera input
is fixed. Selecting a non-standard video ratio may cause unexpected results.
Video PIP Window Creation
1: Adding a PIP Window
From the Menu bar select 'Elements'  'New', this produces a dropdown menu
listing the different types of Element it is possible to add to the Scene e.g.
Gauge, Image, Picture-In-Picture etc.
Selecting 'Picture in Picture' will add a Picture-In-Picture Window to the Main View
Window. By default the PIP window will be named 'Camera 2' as the video displayed
will be the input from the camera physically connected to Camera port 2.
HOLD DOWN SHIFT & CLICK AND DRAG
2: Resizing the Picture in Picture Window
The size of the PIP window can be resized by clicking and dragging any of the
corner boxes when the PIP window has focus.
The PIP window can be resized to any shape or size, however selecting a
non-standard aspect ratio may cause stretching of the image.
To maintain the PAL or NTSC aspect ratio when resizing a PIP element, hold
down the 'SHIFT' key when dragging the corner box.
