11. Fill the crankcase with the recommended
oil ( P. 54) and install the oil fill cap.

When changing oil &
engine oil filter:
3.4 US qt (3.2 litres)
When changing oil only:
3.2 US qt (3.0 litres)
VFR1200FD
When changing oil &
engine oil filter:
4.1 US qt (3.9 litres)
When changing oil only:
3.8 US qt (3.6 litres)

12. Check the oil level.
13. Check that there are no oil leaks.
14. Install the right engine heat guard & right
under fairing.
