g) Connecting the Flight Battery

Important information!
After the transmitter is switched on and the flight
battery connected, the transmitter and receiver
must automatically align with each another (bind-
ing function).
Therefore, you must observe and comply with
the temporal process of switching on under all
circumstances, because otherwise the model will
not react to the transmitter's signals.
During the aligning process, no other 2.4 GHz
remote control transmitter should be operated
in direct proximity of the model.
Slide the left control stick for the pitch and tail function to the
bottom position (see figure 1, item 13).
Then turn on the transmitter with the function switch (see
figure 1, item 6). After two short signal sounds, the trim dis-
plays (see figure 5, item 1) will run inwards from the outside
for approx. 10 seconds and then from the bottom to the top.
Connect the flight battery to the model using the BEC plug
connector (1) protected against wrong polarity during these
10 seconds. When the receiver/controller unit (also see fig-
ure 31, item 1) is connected to the flight battery, alignment
with the transmitter is performed.
In this time, the LED display (also see figure 31, item 3) on
the left side of the receiver/controller unit flashes very quickly.
When the transmitter has attuned to the sender signals, the swash plate servos (also see figure 29, item 1) go into their
basic position. In this position, the swash plate (2) must be aligned perfectly horizontally (see dashed line). The LED at
the receiver/controller unit now lights up permanently.
Important!
Since the integrated gyro is also initialised during this time, the model helicopter must not be moved or
turned when the flight battery is connected.
To clear the speed controllers for the drive motors, the pitch control stick as well as the corresponding
trimming must be set to the bottom-most position (also see figure 5, item 3).

Before starting to fly your model helicopter, you should take note of the following information first.
