b) Checking the retainer of the rotor blade

• To allow the 4 rotor blades (1) to orientate themselves
at a 180° angle to each other during operation, the
screws of the 4 blade retainers (2) must not be too firmly
tightened.
• If you pitch the model helicopter by 90° to the side, the
rotor blades must be able to let slightly downward as
illustrated in the figure.
c) Connecting the flight accumulator
• Push the charged flight accumulator (1) according to
the figure, from the back up to the stop (2) into the battery
shaft (3). The accumulator's connection cable must point
backwards in flight direction.
• Then pull out the transmitter antenna completely and
turn on the transmitter.
• Slide the left control stick for the pitch and tail function
to the bottom position (see ill. 1, pos. 12, engine-off
position).
• Now you can connect the flight accumulator with the
help of the BEC connector (4), which is protected against
wrong polarity on the receiver/controller element of the
helicopter.
The triple-pole accumulator charge cable is not connected with the model.
• The receiver/controller module (1) then carries out an
internal alignment that lasts for approx. 2 seconds. While
this is going on, the control LED (2) on the receiver/
controller module blinks red.
The helicopter must not be moved or turned
during this time.
• Once matching is complete, the two servo engines (also
see ill. 15, pos. 2 and 3) of the rotor control also move
to neutral (center position) and the control LED is
permanently green.
• Now your model helicopter is ready to start.
