Routing through a shaft (type B
The boiler 1 draws combustion air from the installation room, and
expels flue gas through the flue pipe via the roof (balanced flow).

Connection to a moisture-resistant chimney (MR chimney, type

The boiler 2 draws combustion air from the installation room and
expels the flue gas through a moisture-resistant chimney via the
roof.
Vertical outlet where no shaft is available (type B
2008)
The boiler 3 draws combustion air from the installation room (attic),
and expels flue gas through the flue pipe via the roof.

Routing through a shaft (type C
The boiler draws combustion air from the atmosphere through the
annular gap inside the shaft (chimney) and expels the flue gas to the
outside through the flue pipe via the roof.
