TX
Indicates the radio will transmit using 25 watts of output power.
25W
Indicates the radio will transmit using 1 watt of output power.
1W
The radio is set for maximum receive sensitivity.
DX
The radio is set for local receive sensitivity.
LOC
Displayed channel is the priority channel.
PRI
Changes to bold font when adjusting the SQUELCH threshold.
SQL
Indicates US channel list is enabled.
US
Indicates International channel list is enabled.
INT
Indicates Weather channel list is enabled.
WX
Indicates the displayed channel is US simplex.
A
16 Toggles channel selection between priority channel and CH 16.
0 – 9 Allows entry of channel selection, alphanumeric channel
information and menu selections.
Initiates an Emergency DSC call.
DISTRESS
Selects DSC operations.
DSC
RADIO Toggles between radio menu selections and normal operations.
Aborts DSC operations.
Allows quick access to squelch settings for normal operations.
SQL
Selects print feature in other modes.
LIST Selects US, INT or WX channel list. Also serves as a backspace

Increases squelch, channel, alphanumeric and contrast settings.
