ROUTINE INDIVIDUAL DSC CALLS

A routine individual call is used to address
another station, either ship or coast. Typically
such calls are made on Channel 70 and indicate
an alternate working channel. If most calls are
transmitted on a calling channel other than 70,
the default channel can be changed.
To transmit a routine individual DSC call, press

If you are calling the same station shown on the
screen, simply press

DSC CALLS USING ALTERNATE CALLING CHANNEL

Similar to sending a routine individual call, the
alternate calling channel method allows the call
to be sent on a channel other than the default
DSC channel.
To transmit such a DSC call press
