default DSC channel.
The radio will change to the working channel
assigned by the coast station's acknowledgment.
Under most circumstances, received calls are
displayed immediately.
An alarm tone will sound to alert the operator of
the received call. Pressing a key stops the alarm.
The information displayed will depend on the
nature of the received call. If the MMSI number
is not recognized from the list of programmed
DSC ID's, the MMSI number will be displayed
rather than the name.
The radio will automatically change to the
requested channel for further communications.
