TROUBLESHOOTING AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS

1. Checking the use state and handling
When you receives any complaint from user, you must make correct judgment for proper troubleshooting. There are
many cases where incorrect information from user and preconception of troubles impede correct troubleshooting.
The following information will be useful for servicing personnel.
When receiving complaint from user, ask him to check as follows before requesting repair.
Symptom
Unit does not
operate when
power ON/OFF
button is preesed.
The dehumidifying
capacity is low.
Humidity does not
decrease in each of
the operating modes.
Unit operation is
noisy.
Water is leaking.
Checking
Is the water tank set properly ?
Is the water tank full ?
Is the unit plugged properly ?
Is the power supply OK ?
Is the front filter and air filter clogged ?
Is the air outlet or intake closed ?
Is the temperature and the humidity of your room too low ?
Is your room too wide ?
Are the windows, outlet/intake doors opened and closed frequently ?
Do you have a steam generating device such as an oil stove in your room ?
Is the dehumidifier installed properly and without play ?
Is your floor steady ?
Is the front filter clogged ?
Did the unit topple, or was it tilted or dropped ?
Is the pipe connection or hose connection for the continous drainage all right ?
