Adjusting the Needle Drop Position (Back or Forth)

Needle drop position adjusting plate
Needle hole
1. Set the moving head to needle bar No. 3 (see
pages 26 and 39 of the instruction book).
Push the needle bar No. 3 down to engage the
needle bar clutch.
Setscrews
2. Turn the handwheel until the needle goes down
into the needle hole.
Loosen the 2 setscrews. Adjust the needle drop
position adjusting plate. Center the needle drop
position in the needle hole.
3. Adjust the hook timing (see page 34).
