Installation STEP 1 Read the Safety Instructions • It is very important to read the safety instructions on pages 4 and 5. IMPORTANT: It is the installer’s responsibility to comply with installation clearances. STEP 2 Unpack Range Hood and Prepare Tools • Carefully unpack the range hood and parts.

Installation STEP 6 Install Damper onto Range Hood • Place the damper gasket followed by the damper over the ventilation hole on top of the motor box on the range hood. • Secure using the four screws provided. STEP 7 Connect Ductwork • Connect the ductwork to the ventilation hole in the ceiling.
STEP 9 Install Ceiling Mounting Bracket • Center the upper chimney bracket on the ceiling around the ventilation duct opening. Ensure that the markings coincide with the cross-bracings between the ceiling joists. • Mark the upper screw holes on the ceiling. • Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling cross-braces with screws and leave approximately 1/4”...
Installation STEP 11 Install Range Hood Note: To avoid personal injury and/or damage to the range hood, this installation step requires three people. • Remove the two baffle filters from the range hood. • With the assistance of two other people holding the range hood from below, position the lower chimney bracket onto the motor box of the range hood and screw together using the four screws provided.
Installation IMPORTANT: • Observe all governing codes and ordinances. • It is the customer’s responsibility to contact a qualified electrical installer. • If codes permit and a separate ground wire is used, it is recommended that a qualified electrician determine that the ground path is adequate. A 120-Volt, 60 Hz, AC-only, fused electrical supply is required on a separate 15-amp circuit, fused on both sides of the line. • DO NOT ground to a gas pipe. • Check with a qualified electrician if you are not sure that the range hood is properly grounded. • DO NOT have a fuse in the neutral or ground circuit. IMPORTANT: Save this Installation Guide for electrical inspector’s use. GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS: • This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short-circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current.
Operation Using the Fan Turning the Light On of Off Press to turn light on Press to begin low and again to turn light speed. Screen will display off. Press to increase speed suction. Screen will display increments as 2, 3, 4. Press again to decrease suction.
Maintenance Replacing the Light Bulbs Cleaning the Range Hood Unplug the unit from the AC outlet. Be sure electrical power is off and all surfaces are cool before cleaning or servicing any part of the hood. Range Hood Body Remove five screws from the light panel, then remove the light bulbs by popping them out.
