15. Establish a sanitizer reading no less than 1.0 ppm free chlorine or
2.0 ppm bromine, then allow the hot tub to set undisturbed for 8
hours. Retest water after 8 hours to determine if sanitizer levels are
stable. If sanitizer levels are stable, your hot tub is ready for use.
To ensure healthy water conditions, always maintain a constant
sanitizer reading within the levels recommended on the inside cover
of this manual. If sanitizer levels are not stable at this time, it will be
necessary to repeat this procedure in its entirety (steps 1-15) until
stable sanitizer readings are achieved.
IMPORTANT: If the CLEARRAY water purification system is removed
from the hot tub or is not operating efficiently follow the "without
CLEARRAY" water chemistry parameters. Such parameters are de-
fined by the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals.
16. After adequate sanitizer levels are achieved, close all spa air controls
by rotating them clockwise to maximize heat retention when spa is
not in use.
