Defective paint needle
sealing
Clogged air cap drill-

Air distribution ring has
not been positioned in
correct location (pin is
not located in the drill-
ings) or damaged
Corrective action
Tighten fluid tip [2-1]
with universal spanner
Replace air distribu-
tion ring, as it will be
damaged during disas-
sembly
Tighten air cap [2-2]
by hand
Clean air circuit, ob-
serve chapter 8
Clean nozzle set,
chapter 8, or replace,
respectively, chapter
9.1
Refill gravity flow cup

Replace the paint nee-
dle sealing, chapter
