Maintenance

• Prior to maintenance, disconnect spray gun from the compressed air
circuit!
• Disassemble and install components very carefully! Exclusively use
included special tools!
9.1. Replacing the nozzle set
and [7-6]
Every SATA nozzle set consists of the paint needle [7-1], air cap ring [7-
2], air cap [7-3] and fluid tip [7-4] and is adjusted by hand to produce a
perfect spray pattern. Press old air cap out of the cap ring by hand [7-5].
Grease the paint needle [7-1] at the needle seal (approx. 3 cm before the
needle bushing, paint needle spring) and thread of the material flow con-
trol screw [1-11]. Therefore always replace the complete nozzle set. After
installation, adjust the material flow according to chapter 7.2.
9.2. Replace air distribution ring
[8-1], [8-2] [8-3], [7-6], [7-7] and [7-8]
• Remove air distribution ring with SATA extraction tool only.
• Do not apply force to avoid damage of sealing surfaces.
