3. Setup of the
Double Matrix Professional Sonic
Take the already assembled record cleaning machine from its packaging.
Set it on a stable and horizontal surface (such as a desk or rack).
Please note that due to the weight of the record cleaning machine, the feet of the device can cause marks

on soft surfaces. Due to the warm air outlet on the bottom of the , the
surface on which it rests should be heat resistant to a minimum of 60°C.
3.1 Connect to the mains supply

To avoid using an additional extension cable, place the within 2 metres of
an electrical wall outlet.

Connect the supplied mains cable first to the IEC socket on the back of the

, and then to the electrical wall outlet. Press the switch on the IEC socket and position it to "I".
Using the funnel supplied, fill the cleaning fluid reservoir with cleaning fluid. Pay careful attention to

the fluid level LED indicator to avoid over-filling. For best results we recommend using Clearaudio
Groove
cleaning fluid. Close the cleaning fluid reservoir with the cap.

Note: Voltages are referenced to EU countries with 230V mains power.
In other countries the mains voltage and frequency may vary (e.g. USA 115V/60Hz.)

The mains cable supplied should be of the type appropriate for your country. Please ensure that the mains
voltage of your country also matches the mains voltage of the device. This information is also on the
product information label (see above). If it does not match, contact your Clearaudio dealer.
