Entering Characters

Enter characters such as passwords using the keyboard screen.
Note:
Available icons vary depending on the setting item.
A
Displays the number of characters. (The number of characters that you have entered./The maximum number of
characters that you can enter.)
B
Moves the cursor to the input position.
C
Switches between capital letters and small letters.
D
Switches the character type.
AB: alphabets
1#: numbers and symbols
E
Changes the keyboard layout.
F
Enters frequently used email domain addresses or URLs by simply selecting the item.
G
Enters a space.
H
Enters the character.
I
Deletes the character on the left of the cursor (a vertical bar indicating the position where text will be entered).
Deletes the character on the right of the cursor when the cursor is at the beginning of the sentence (when there
are no characters to the left of the cursor).
J
Switches the character type.
