Menu Options for Settings

Device Information

Select the menus on the control panel as described below.
Settings > Device Information

Various Status Information

You can check the Serial Number, Current Version, Number of Scans, Authentication Device Status, and so on.

Number of Scans After Replacing

You can display this information by tapping . The roller assembly kit (the pickup roller and the separation
roller) needs to be replaced when the number of scans exceeds the life cycle of the rollers. Reset the number of
scans in this menu after replacing the rollers.

External Scan Settings

Select the menus on the control panel as described below.
Settings > External Scan Settings

Ultrasonic Double Feed Detection

When scanning without using Epson Scan 2, the settings from the settings menu are enabled. When set to On,
displays a double feed error when multiple originals are fed and stops scanning.
However, an error occurs when detecting double feeds when loading envelopes, plastic cards, originals with labels
or stickers, and so on.

Slow

When set to On, the icon is displayed on the home screen. Slows down the feeding speed whenever
scanning.
Enable this in the following situations:
❏ When originals jam frequently
❏ When loading thin originals
