13.1 What to do if...
Problem
You cannot activate the
appliance.
You cannot activate or op‐
erate the hob.
The oven does not heat
up.
You cannot activate or op‐
erate the hob.
There is no spark when
you try to activate the
spark generator.
There is no spark when
you try to activate the
spark generator.
There is no spark when
you try to activate the
spark generator.
The flame extinguishes im‐
mediately after ignition.
The flame ring is uneven.
The burners do not work.
The flame colour is orange
or yellow.
4. Install the glass cover.
Possible cause
The appliance is not con‐
nected to an electrical sup‐
ply or it is connected incor‐
rectly.
The fuse is blown.
The fuse is blown.
The hob is not connected
to an electrical supply or it
is connected incorrectly.
The fuse is blown.
Burner cap and crown are
placed incorrectly.
Thermocouple is not heat‐
ed up sufficiently.
Burner crown is blocked
with food residues.

Remedy
Check if the appliance is
correctly connected to the
electrical supply.
Make sure that the fuse is
the cause of the malfunc‐
tion. If the fuse is blown
again and again, contact a
qualified electrician.
Activate the hob again and
set the heat setting in less
than 10 seconds.
Check if the hob is correct‐
ly connected to the electri‐
cal supply. Refer to the
connection diagram.
Make sure that the fuse is
the cause of the malfunc‐
tion. If the fuse is blown
again and again, contact a
qualified electrician.
Place the burner cap and
crown correctly.
After lightning the flame,
keep the spark generator
activated for equal or less
than 10 seconds
Make sure that the injector
is not blocked and the
burner crown is clean.
Check the gas connection.
The flame can look orange
or yellow in some areas of
the burner. This is normal.
