the optional rear

connectors
and
provides
digital
control
signals
between
the
4708 and
a
4600
Transconductance
Amplifier.
It
may
also
be
used
to
input
an
external reset to restore the
4708
to
its
power-
up
state
of
DCV,
IV
Range
etc., if
required.

The IEEE 488
Input/Ouqjut (D-type) socket
J27
is
a
24-way
micro-ribbon connector
that
is
directly
compatible with
the
IEEE
488
interface
and
the
lEC-defmed
system.
J27
is
located
at
the top
of
the rear panel, outlined
with
the
IEEE
488
address
switch.
